In the book of Proverbs Solomon writes that hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life. Have you ever lost hope? I’m sure we all have at times in life. Once hope is lost it seems nothing else matters. When we get to that point, we need to do as David did on so many occasions…cry out to God. In Psalm 39 that what we see him doing as he cries out, “My hope is in You!” That’s the key that unlock the door of hopelessness and pushes it wide open…that our hope is in God and nothing else.
